2026 Benefitting Nonprofits

Grandparents As Parents

Grandparents As Parents supports and empowers Grandparents and Kinship Guardians who are raising children in the wake of crises such as addiction, incarceration, or abandonment. Their new One-Stop Shop provides a safe, welcoming space where families can access food, clothing, school supplies, counseling referrals, and other essential resources all under one roof. Grant funds will help furnish and equip this facility with items like furniture, technology, and child-friendly spaces to create a true hub of hope and stability for the more than 60,000 Grandfamilies they serve across North Alabama.

National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Greater Huntsville Area Chapter

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women advocates for Black women and girls by promoting leadership development and gender equity in health, education, and economic empowerment. Their “In The Pink” project provides feminine hygiene products to students and homeless school shelters across North Alabama while hosting educational workshops to break stigma and promote menstrual health awareness. This grant will help fund supplies, awareness campaigns, and outreach benefiting over 10,000 girls in Huntsville, Madison, and surrounding communities.

Liberty Learning Foundation

The Liberty Learning Foundation teaches civic responsibility, character, and leadership through its Hands on Liberty and Super Citizen programs for elementary students in North Alabama. Their engaging curriculum and live performances featuring “Libby Liberty” bring civics to life for over 2,000 students across 18 schools. Grant funds will support classroom program kits and live educational events in Huntsville City Schools that help children learn the importance of community, kindness, and good citizenship.
